Boutique law firm with offices in New York, Miami and Orlando is seeking a bright, highly motivated Operations / Administrative Assistant to join our operations team in Miami or Orlando. This position wears many hats, including reception, office administration, personal assistance, and general clerical support. At Harry Jho LLC, you’ll gain hands-on experience across multiple professional areas, and have the opportunity to grow your skills in accounting, project management, data analysis, and IT.

Who we are: Harry Jho LLC is the leading law firm in the securities finance industry. We work for global financial institutions and hedge funds.

Who you are: You are a flexible problem-solver with a can-do attitude, willing to pitch in on any task no matter how small. You are searching for jobs in office administration, reception and executive or personal assistance, and interested in a career in the financial or legal services industries. You’re ambitious about learning new skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You have a strong sense of responsibility and can persevere through less exciting (but essential) aspects of the job.

What you’ll do:

Administrative Support:

  • Manage schedules, calendars, and travel arrangements for our leadership team.
  • Greet guests, answer phones, and keep the office organized and running smoothly.
  • Coordinate with cleaning and maintenance staff, order office supplies, and snacks.

Operations & Finance:

  • Organize and track billing data, prepare invoices, and generate financial reports.
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable, including outgoing payments.
  • Review payroll, employee timecards, and paid time off.

IT & Special Projects:

  • Set up workstations and troubleshoot IT issues.
  • Assist with office moves, storage organization, and relocation logistics.

What you bring:

  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel (and a desire to improve).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent professional written communication.
  • A current driver’s license with a clean record (for Orlando applicants, only).

Bonus points:

  • You know your way around mileage reward systems and love finding travel deals!
