We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join our educational team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students.
This role involves teaching various math/science concepts to students, utilizing innovative teaching methods, and integrating learning technology to enhance educational outcomes.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of science curriculum and instructional strategies.
- Proficiency in utilizing learning technology to facilitate interactive lessons.
- Excellent behavior management skills to maintain a conducive classroom environment.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment methods.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing and regular evaluations, providing feedback to students and parents.
- Incorporate learning technology into lessons to enhance student engagement and understanding of science concepts.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a respectful and productive atmosphere for all students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall improvement of the school’s educational programs.
Provide library services support by guiding students in accessing mathematical resources for additional learning
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Valid Florida teaching certificate or Statement of Eligibility (or willingness to enroll in our teacher preparation program).
- A true passion for teaching and uplifting students during their formative years.
- Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- US work authorization.
